Deleting your PiaDOOR account
You can delete your PiaDOOR account (shared by the PiaDOOR app and the PiaDOOR website) yourself at any time. This page explains how to delete your account and which data is deleted or kept.

How to delete your account
In the PiaDOOR app
- Open "My page" in the app.
- Select "Delete account".
- Check what will be deleted and tap "Delete account". Enter your password in the confirmation dialog and tap "Delete".
On the website (also if you no longer have the app)
- Log in on the account settings login page with your email address and password.
- On the account settings page, go to "Delete account" at the bottom and press "Delete".
- Enter your password and press "Agree and delete account".
If you have forgotten your password, please reset your password first.
If you created your account with Apple or Google (an account without a password): in the app, you confirm by signing in with Apple or Google again instead of entering a password. To delete your account on the website, log in with the Apple or Google button on the login page, and first create a password from "Create" under "Password" in the account settings.
When the deletion is complete, we will send a confirmation email to your registered email address.
Data that is deleted
- Your usage as a teacher, participant, or online lesson student (all roles)
- Sheet music (imported sheet music, annotations, lists and practice records)
- App and website logins (all devices)
- Connections between teachers and students (removed. When a student's family deletes their account, the teacher's chat remains read-only. When a teacher deletes their account, the families they were connected with can no longer see the chat, lessons or monthly fee records with that teacher. Sheet music annotations sent by the teacher remain on the student's sheet music without the teacher's name)
- Personal information such as your password, names, nickname, gender, date of birth, address, receipt name, and payment methods (cards)
- Any remaining tickets (they become invalid)
Once the deletion is complete, you can no longer log in to the app or the website. The personal information above is erased 30 days after the deletion.
Data that may be kept as records
- Email address (kept as a record in a form that cannot be used to log in)
- Participation and award history in competitions and events (including teacher awards)
- Teachers' ledgers (lesson and fee records) and chat messages
- Records of agreement to the terms (version, time, IP address, and browser information) and payment records

When you cannot delete your account
If any of the following apply, you cannot delete your account until they are completed or have ended (the reason is shown on the screen).
- Participation in a competition whose results and video notice have not been sent yet
- Booked seminars or lessons, or automatic bookings with an instructor (online lessons)
- An active teacher membership or lesson membership
- Student referrals that are not yet complete, or a Promenade (recital) in progress
